Annual HOA Meeting
The annual Pinon Glen Homeowners Association (HOA) meeting is typically held the 4th Thursday of October in the Pinon Glen Clubhouse. A meeting notice, agenda and proposed budget for the new fiscal year is sent to all homeowners one month prior to the meeting.



Architectural Control Committee (ACC)
Homeowners are required to request permission from the ACC prior to making any changes to the exterior of their homes, yards or the common area. Please click on ACC for additional information. Call Dennis Laurence if you have any questions.



Board Meetings
Board meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 in the Pinon Glen Clubhouse. Homeowners are welcome to attend.



Budget
The HOA budget is on a January to December fiscal year.



Clubhouse
The Pinon Glen Clubhouse is available for use by all homeowners and their guests. Dependents under the age of 18 may not have access to the Clubhouse unless accompanied by a parent or adult family member. All HOA and Board meetings are held at the Clubhouse. The Pinon Glen Clubhouse may be reserved for personal use by homeowners. During the hours that the Clubhouse has been reserved, it is not open for use by other homeowners.

The procedures for reserving the clubhouse are as follows:
1.   Call Sarah MacLeod to reserve the clubhouse. Sarah's phone number can be found using the HOA Directory with Phone Numbers link on the Documents web page.
2. Click on the link below for the Clubhouse Use Form. (Forms are also available in the clubhouse.)
3.   Provide Sarah with the completed Clubhouse Use Form and a $25.00 fee payable to Pinon Glen HOA. This payment is deposited into the clubhouse fund.
4.   The clubhouse will be inspected by the user and a member of committee on day of use and after 12:00 (noon) the following day.
5.   If the clubhouse is not properly cleaned, a cleaning fee of $50.00 will be assessed.
6.   If there is physical damage to the facility, the user is responsible for the cost of repair or the replacement of the damaged item.


Clubhouse Keys
Homeowners are entitled to a clubhouse key. Call Burton Burough if you need a clubhouse key or have any questions or problems with your key.



Coffee
Join your neighbors for coffee every Tuesday at 10 am in the Clubhouse. All homeowners are welcome.



Covenants, By-Laws and Rules & Regulations
Pinon Glen is a covenant-protected community. Copies of our governing documents are available on the Pinon Glen web site. The board has established rules governing the use of the common areas and a schedule of fines for covenant violations. Please refer to Pinon Glen at a Glance for additional information.



Dogs
It is required by our covenants that dogs must be on a leash at all times if they are outside the homeowner's fenced area. Homeowners are also required to immediately clean up after their pets. Violators are subject to fines. Please refer to Pinon Glen at a Glance for additional information.



Exterior Lighting
Homeowners are responsible for replacing burned out light bulbs by your garage, front and back doors. Many of the exterior garage lights are on sensors. If your garage light sensors need replacing, please call the HOA's cell phone or send an e-mail to board@pinonglen.org.



Fenced in Back Yards
Homeowners are responsible for maintaining the area inside their backyard fences. Any modifications to backyards (including planting trees and building patios, decks, etc.) require ACC approval prior to modification/construction. Please refer to Pinon Glen at a Glance for additional information.



Grounds Maintenance
All common area grounds maintenance (including mowing, fertilizing, weed control, irrigation system maintenance, etc.) is provided by Weisburg Landscape Maintenance.



Insurance
As required by our covenants, the HOA maintains a master insurance policy through CB Insurance. Please refer to the CB Insurance Unit Owner Packet available on the Documents page of this web site for additional information about the HOA's policies and the coverage that homeowners are encouraged to obtain to cover their personal belongings.



Maintenance
Please refer to Pinon Glen at a Glance for information about those items that homeowners are responsible for maintaining (such as decks, fences, doors, etc.).



Monthly HOA Assessments
All financial matters are handled by the HOA's bookkeeper, Donna Kast. Monthly assessments are due by the 10th of the month. A $15 fee is assessed for payments received after the 10th. Payments should be sent to Pinon Glen HOA, PO Box 49151, Colorado Springs, CO 80949-9151. Automatic payments (ACH transactions) may be arranged. Call Donna Kast (evenings only) if you have any questions about the monthly assessments or want to arrange for automatic payments.



Newsletter
The Pinon Glen Newsletter is distributed to homeowners quarterly in January, April, July and October.

Repair Requests
Please call the HOA's cell phone or send an e-mail to board@pinonglen.org for any exterior repair requests.



Scrap Booking Club
The Pinon Glen scrap booking club meets the first Wednesday of each month in the Clubhouse. Come anytime between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm. Call Mary Coleman if you have any questions.



Snow Clearing
Snow clearing is provided by Weisburg Landscape Maintenance. Walkways, driveways and sidewalks with 2" or more accumulation of snow are cleared. The streets in Pinon Glen are city streets and snow clearing is the responsibility of the city.



Trash & Recycling
Weekly trash & recycling service is provided by US Waste. Trash is picked up every Wednesday. Recycling (paper, plastic and aluminum) is picked up every other Wednesday (see enclosed calendar). To request trash or recycling containers, please call the HOA's cell phone or send an e-mail to board@pinonglen.org.
